Lather Up!

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

I practically own everything Bath and Body Works has to offer, but I can’t seem to stop myself from stocking up on their Anti-Bacterial Hand Soaps.

I love these hand soaps because they come in so many colors you can match whatever the decor in your bath or kitchen.

The soaps come in Moisturizing (which is creamy), Deep Cleansing (gel-like) and Foaming formulas. The first 2 varieties have cleansing beads which help to exfoliate hands.

Anti-bacterial Hand Soaps are currently on sale for $3 each. Run don’t walk, ladies!

The Eyes Have It!

Monday, April 28th, 2008

If you’ve always wanted to be a little adventurous with your makeup, eyeshadows are the way to go. I love pigmented shadows because they allow you to make your look as soft or bold as you dare.

I’ve stumbled on a site which I know is going to soon become my favorite. Archetype Cosmetics offers some of the most brilliant colors I’ve come across in a long time. I placed an order and let me share a few of the colors I can’t wait to try.

Now I know strong colors can be scary, but pigmented shadows can be blended together to create subtle eye effects. Most of these shadows are multi-faceted, so the color gives different results based on the angle you turn. Applied with a wet brush is my favorite way to wear these colors. Just remember to go with a soft lip, we don’t want anyone thinking the circus is in town!

Archetype Cosmetics lets you try their shadows by offering generous-sized samples for 25 cents! These samples provide many uses and are great to experiment with. Not only that, you get 3 FREE samples with every order. When I placed my order shipping was $1.75.

I’ll be waiting by my mailbox, so I’ll post pics and reviews of this product as soon as I can.

Tropical Delights

As you become a regular to my site you’ll find that I LOVE me some E.L.F. I have E.L.F. body products in 4 different rooms in my house. Now that’s dedication!

E.L.F.’s Pineapple Mango line will get your senses ready for summer. I have the hand cream and body wash and the fragrance is comparable to the higher-end product lines. The hand cream is rich and does not leave that greasy feel. The body wash comes in a huge bottle, lathers great, and can also be used as a shave gel.

The kit shown here is a steal at $15.

The bath and body products also can be purchased individually at 3 for $10!

From E.L.F. themselves!– Use code “Radio” at checkout to take off 50% of your order up to $15.00. Thank you E.L.F.!

Hot Lips

Saturday, April 26th, 2008

Now that summer is approaching, we can let our skin breathe a little with lighter makeup. Having 2 teenagers in the house has given me a new interest in lip glosses. Bath and Body Works has glosses both teens and those of us over 20 can appreciate.

The Liplicious line is full of sheer ,mostly fruity-flavored glosses. These glosses are low on color, but high on shimmer and great taste.

Another favorite are C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tints. These glosses are a triple threat! Minty breath, hint of color, and made with 100% peppermint oil.

For a limited time you can mix and match these 2 brands, buy 2 get 1 free!

Who you callin’ "Cupcake"?!

Friday, April 25th, 2008

I recently started a ritual for myself of slathering on a great-scented lotion when I climb into bed. Lately I’ve been reaching for Jaqua’s Pink Buttercream Frosting Luscious Lotion. Normally $16, you can now get it for $11.20! If you haven’t tried Jaqua yet, this is a great introduction. It leaves my skin silky and smelling, like the package says: “Good enough to eat”!
