One thing I love most about beauty blogging is that it unites product-junkies from every part of the world. Beauty blogging’s influence reaches a broad audience of all ages and races. Ms. Elle hails from Australia and brings us beauty from her corner of the world via Ellesappelle’s blog. I love Elle’s site because of its clean look and feel. Her photography is amazing and I really think she’s missed her calling as a model (so pretty!). Get to know to know more about Elle, one of my favorite beauty bloggers…
MM: Your purse is stolen. What beauty item will you replace first?
ELLE: My eyeliner. Hands Down. Especially when I’m in a rush to get out the door in the morning or to an event after work. Just one swipe and smudge of eyeliner I feel more confident and awake! It instantly makes me feel like Bridgette Bardot – smouldering hotness!
MM: What high-end beauty product are you saving your pennies for?
ELLE: It’s not expensive but I can’t justify buying another foundation when I know that I will go back to minerals. But when I tried YSL’s NEW Matt Touch Foundation I was in love. It was such a beautiful finish and perfect shade that was very long-lasting and controlled oil… AND looked ‘radiant’. I am amazed… matte and radiant in one sentence? Unbelievable.
MM: What one hair product can you not live without?
ELLE: Strange. But Hairdye. I’m still trying to get the perfect brown with subtle highlights.
MM: What color polish is on your toes right now?
ELLE: Always a French Manicure. Yes I know I’m a bore. But I’m obsessed with it. I don’t do acrylics or fake nails so I LOVE OPI’s Swedish Nude and Bubble Bath.
MM: What was your inspiration to blog?
ELLE: Seriously, I don’t have many girlfriends who knew why I needed to find my HG foundation or the perfect bronzer or the latest shade of black for smoky eyes. So I really needed to blog it all out before my boyfriend dies from listening to me yap about the latest Edition of MAC.
