HIDDEN GEMS

I really wasn’t expecting much when I first tried Loreal Studio Line Ultra-Fine Spray.  My thick, curly hair has never had much luck with styling products from Loreal, although I love their shampoos and conditioners.  It seems Loreal has revamped their Studio Line products and it’s definitely for the better!

This UItra-Fine Spray holds like a dream and I had absolutely no frizz, thanks to its humidity protection.  The spray lands on hair in a fine mist, which dries almost immediately.  Loreal Studio Line Ultra-Fine Spray rinses clean from hair to prevent dulling, damaging build-up.

Loreal Studio Line Ultra-Fine Spray retails for $5 or less at most retailers.

THE SAME 5 QUESTIONS

Wednesday, December 17th, 2008

One can’t help but admire a young woman who is intelligent, business savvy and self-motivated.  Roselyn from Makeup Makes Me Happy™ is all of those things and gorgeous too!  Her eye-catching site covers all things beauty, from honest product reviews to great giveaways.  Get to know more about Roselyn, one of my favorite beauty bloggers…

MM: Your purse is stolen. What beauty item will you replace first?

ROSELYN: If my purse were stolen, I would have to immediately replace my lip moisturizer! I cannot live without lip moisturizer whatsoever otherwise my lips would be looking like an alligator’s back!

MM: What high-end beauty product are you saving your pennies for?

ROSELYN: At this point, there really isn’t a product that I’m saving for. At one point it was the Clarisonic Skin Care Brush System but I already have that so as for right now I am glad that there isn’t anything out on the market that’s good enough to make me skip out on a few lunch meals.

MM: What one hair product can you not live without?

ROSELYN: A comb! My hair is thin and therefore easily knotted. I cannot ever leave my house without a comb!

MM: What color polish is on your toes right now?

ROSELYN: M.A.C. Illegally Purple

MM: What was your inspiration to blog?

ROSELYN:  My own sense to document all of my beauty purchases. I needed to keep track of what worked on me and what didn’t. This helped me break out of my routine purchases and allowed me to venture into other brands and products.

Thank you Roselyn!
