Alright ladies, it’s time for another round of Name That Polish!  If you’re a Zoya fan, this should be a piece of cake.  One winner (who correctly guesses both names) will receive both polishes shown above.  Winner will be announced Saturday, January 24th at 10:00pm CST.  Readers from all countries are invited to participate!

Seeing Green

Beautiful nails are only as good as the cuticles that surround them, so make sure you keep them hydrated and healthy.  No Lift Nails Cuticle Oil drenches cuticles and nails with nourishing Avocado Oil, Almond Oil and Vitamin E.  I use one drop per finger and buff into nails before applying polish.  Buff thoroughly until all traces of oil are absorbed (oily nails will prevent polish from adhering correctly).  This small bottle will last quite awhile since only a small drop is needed per nail.  I’ve seen a vast improvement in cuticle health in just a few weeks with this miracle oil.

No Lift Nails Cuticle Oil can be found at Sally Beauty Supply for $5.99 ($4.99 with Club Card).

HIDDEN GEMS

Friday, January 16th, 2009

I just spotted a new addition to the L’Oreal Vive Pro line at my local Walgreen’s.  The new Glossy Style line promises to condition and gloss-up your mane, while providing great hold.  I picked up the two shown above and there were also a few products in this line for volumizing.  I can’t wait to try!

L’Oreal Vive Pro Glossy Style averages $4.99 or less at most locations.

Makin’ Me Blush

Thursday, January 15th, 2009

On a whim I decided to purchase E.L.F.’s new Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder.  Both the blush and bronzer are wonderfully pigmented and a little goes a very long way.  The Contouring Blush side has been nabbed as a cheaper dupe for NARS’ Orgasm due to its gold sparkles.  The Bronzing Powder side can be used on all skin tones, but fairer-skinned beauties may want to apply with a light hand because of the highly-pigmented color.  The packaging is very upscale (which I love!) and folks will find it hard to believe that you only paid $3 for it!

Just in Case

Tuesday, January 13th, 2009

Rifling through a mini-makeup bag for my brushes everyday became a tiresome chore, so the search for the perfect brush case began.  The “leatherine” case shown above was purchased from Coastal Scents for a mere $4.95!  When closed, its slim design takes up no space in my bathroom, even with 19 brushes inside.  If you’re looking for quality brushes to fill this case with, Coastal Scents has some of the best, at dirt-cheap prices.
