HELPING IS BEAUTIFUL

The Fresh Air Fund is a program which provides memorable summer experiences for inner-city children.  These experiences are provided by people who open their homes and hearts for two weeks or more throughout the summer.  Children who otherwise would spend the summer in the city, can now enjoy swimming, hiking, fishing and camping in the country and suburbs.

Since 1877, The Fresh Air Fund has depended on donations and help from hosts who volunteer their homes.  To help make a difference, please visit the Fresh Air Fund website.  If funds are low and donating is not an option, volunteers are also needed and welcomed.

Hey lady! Sorry it’s taken me awhile. I rarely get on due to my limited schedule (working two jobs) and when I do, it’s not for very long.
You had left a message on my blog asking about my hair (thanks for the compliment!). I’ve actually never dyed my hair, which I think plays a
major role in the natural shine it has. I have however used a straightener (of course blow dryer)for years, although my hair is super straight!
I wasn’t using protective products though, which did do some damage and took away some of the natural shine. Silly me, didn’t even need to
use one. WELLLL now I’m hooked on a straightener just because it gives that polished look and I’ve been using it for so long. I have been using for the past year (give or take some months/days) Silk Elements w/ Olive Oil Shampoo & Conditioner. Then after I shower I just spray a little bit of the protectant spray of the same line. You can
find this at Sally’s and I have been very pleased with this. It’s not expensive either! Each are under $10 :]! I would def. give the spray a try. It
makes my hair so soft and gives a natural shine to it, without weighing it down. That’s it! Hope all is going well for you! ♥ Keep in touch*

  • Nice informative post as usual. I’ve just had a baby and haven’t worried about my appearance for almost a year now so it’s refreshing to read a post like this, thank you.
